Cosmetic Dentistry

Giving You What Genetics Might Not Have!

Cosmetic dentistry focuses on enhancing the appearance of your teeth, mouth, and smile. It can involve a wide range of procedures, from teeth whitening to full-mouth reconstruction. If you’re considering cosmetic dental work, trust our dental professionals to ensure your best possible results.

We are dedicated to helping patients achieve the smile of their dreams. Whether you’re interested in brightening up your teeth with professional teeth whitening, straightening out a few crooked teeth, or completely transforming your smile with veneers or implants, we have the skills and expertise to help you achieve your goals.

Teeth Whitening

One of the most popular – and easiest – cosmetic dental procedures is teeth whitening. Over time, our teeth can become discolored and stained due to a variety of factors such as drinking coffee, tea, or wine, or from tobacco use. Professional teeth whitening is a safe and effective way to brighten up your smile and improve the appearance of your teeth. Our office can make reusable custom whitening trays for the most effective whitening treatment, or our disposable trays are a good way to get your feet wet (and your teeth white!) with less financial commitment.

Invisible Orthodontic Aligners

Are you interested in straightening out your smile? Not interested in all the metal brackets and wires? Thin, clear plastic aligners that fit over your teeth can take your smile from snaggly to snazzy! Aligners are changed out every two weeks (once monthly visits to our office) and gradually change a patient’s smile by incremental steps, just as traditional braces do, but are much more comfortable – with no brace-face!

Replacing Missing Teeth

For any reason that a patient might be missing a tooth – or several teeth – there are several options for replacement, and options for different budgets, as well. Dr. Armstrong can replace missing teeth with one or more dental implants, by creating a bridge to span the gap, or by making a partial that has an artificial tooth attached to fill in the space. Every case is unique, and our patients are encouraged to meet with Dr. Armstrong to discuss their best plan forward.

Dentures or Implant-Supported Dentures

Do you have more gaps in your smile than teeth? Dr. Armstrong can create partials, dentures – or even better and more stable – implant-supported dentures, so you can have a healthy-looking smile again. While partials and dentures rely on the anatomy of your mouth (for partials, their stability comes from the clasps that wrap around and grip any remaining teeth, and the shape of your mouth and gums. Regular dentures rely solely on the shape of your mouth and gums), implant-supported dentures get their stability from two or more implants placed by Dr. Armstrong. After you have healed, the dentures will snap over the implants like a button – and won’t fall out or “drift” when you talk or eat!

Veneers

Veneers are thin, custom-made restorations that are bonded to the front surface of your teeth. They can be used to correct a variety of aesthetic issues such as chips, cracks, gaps, and discoloration. Veneers are made of porcelain or composite resin, and are designed to look natural and blend in seamlessly with your existing teeth.
